In 2024, Culture Quest entered its third year with Aquatic Worlds, Desert Dreams, unfolding across riversides, marshes, bird sanctuaries, and urban classrooms in and around Timișoara. Against the backdrop of water scarcity and advancing desertification, this edition asked what tools and alliances — scientific, artistic, and ecological — we can imagine for cohabiting with non-human life.
The program proposed a guided walk along the Bega river, a field expedition to the Satchinez Ornithological Reserve, interdisciplinary workshops for youth, and collective installations reflecting on the fragility and resilience of ecosystems. From linocut prints of water birds, to letters to imaginary winged friends, to co-built bird shelters with SEPALE Sanctuary, each activity invited participants aged 12 to 99+ to rethink their relationship to nature through speculative, artistic, and scientific lenses.
I was in charge of the entire communication process: developing and implementing the digital strategy, managing registrations, designing the website, and ensuring the project’s presence across channels — from social media to newsletters and press outreach.
