In spring 2024, POD – Program for Observation and Discovery was launched as a travelling lab for education and discovery by Indecis artist-run in partnership with three public schools in Timișoara. Over three months, POD turned classrooms, neighborhoods, and even basements into places of learning, weaving together contemporary art and natural sciences through workshops, a guided walk, and a collective exhibition.
The metaphor tying it all together was the mycelium — the hidden fungal network that sustains life beneath our feet. Over 50 children and teenagers worked with artists Suzana Dan, Lore Ilie, Ioana Balint, and Gavril Pop to explore how fungi grow, connect, and support ecosystems, while creating their own maps, drawings, models, and collective stories.
I coordinated all communication: website, social media, newsletter, and press outreach.
