In November 2022, APPARATUS reshaped Senat Gallery in Bucharest into a space ark carrying humanity’s hopes on a voyage to Proxima Centauri.
The immersive installation combined dance, video, light art, and robotic performance to tell the story of Ome, the last survivor of the APPARATUS spaceship. Across three evenings (25–27 November), audiences followed Ome’s journey from anger and loneliness to serenity and enlightenment. With just 50 seats per show and three performances each night, the experience was both intimate and spectacular.
My role was to craft the communication around the project, inviting audiences to step in as “crew members” of the mission through storytelling, visuals, and online engagement.
